Learn to create paintings of nature that capture the softly colored art form that is expressed in the teachings and techniques of instructor Hisako Asano. You will learn to mix and blend colors and manipulate 3-D values with a single stroke. Materials list is available in the Foundation office.

This four-week course will provide you with all the information you need to grow a spring edible garden including fruits, vegetables, and herbs. We will discuss plant selection, plant schedules, planting from seed and starter plants, basic soil preparation, water, sun and climate requirements, harvesting, and gardening resources. We will also discuss various approaches to edible gardening including raised beds, container gardening, and in ground directly. Organic gardening practices will be encouraged.
