An ancient Chinese Technique emphasizing relaxation, balance, coordination, and agility, Tai Chi is a total system of exercises promoting circulation, flexibility, and inner strength, as well as mental and physical discipline. Living in California, Master Wang is an authentic Monk from The Shaolin Temple in China challenging the principles he was taught throughout his life. African Violets are one of America’s most popular houseplants. Under the right growing conditions, they are able to bloom almost continuously. They are available in many colors and growth-habits. Knowledgeable society members will be on hand to answer your questions. Culture Class held in Classroom B at 10:30 am. Plants and potting mix will be available to purchase. Sponsored by the South Coast African Violet Society.

Docent guided Tram Tour.  Tour lasts about 45 minutes and travels the Tram Road which is about a one-mile loop around the garden.  Various points of interest are discussed. You will not disembark the tram.  

Current Tram Tour schedule is only at 1:00pm on Saturdays.  Please call the admission window at (310) 544-6815 to ensure that the tram is running as scheduled.

Cost is $4 per person, payable at the admission window, on a first come, first served basis.  Admission window accepts cash only for entrance and tram tour.
