Join Faery Fauni and Faery Godmother Careen up close in an interactive walkabout in the enchanted gardens of South Coast Botanic Garden. The faeries will bring you stories of faery magic and flowers, with dancing, singing and fun. Starting at 9:30 a.m. and ending at noon.
Groups and parties are welcome. Picnicking will be available on the lawn adjacent to the Amphitheater during the Event hours. Children are invited to come in costume. Fairy merchandise and face painting will be available for purchase.

Instructor: Art To Grow On Children’s Art Center, Inc.
Join us for this awesome art class that introduces the Great Masters! From Frank Lloyd Wright to Van Gogh, to Andy Warhol to Monet, students will learn how to work with a variety of materials and take home a work of art each week. Imagination, creativity, and innovation are at the forefront of this great class. Come join the fun – a great way to enhance critical thinking, develop problem solving skills, and let that imagination soar! Class is limited to 16 participants.
Kids Club is a membership just for kids! We spend an hour the first Sunday of each month from, 1:30pm to 2:30pm, discovering something nature related. We do book readings, art projects, and so much more! Kids Club runs from February through October.
$35 for members’ children / $17.50 for each additional sibling
Dads are tough and tumbly! And they can also be huggy and soft! Come and pot a succulent for dad that is both tough and soft. We will also learn about the summer solstice and look at our shadows and discover a sun dial. In addition, we will be doing a book reading.

It is no surprise that dads love picnics! Bring your dad and spend the day at the Garden. A self-guided tour and information sheet will be available. Activity presented by Rachel Enders for her Girl Scout Gold Award.Please visit the Gift Shop for more information. Picnics are not provided, but feel free to bring your own. The Upper and Lower Meadows will be open for picnicking.
