    Instructor: Master Wang Hui

    An ancient Chinese Technique emphasizing relaxation, balance, coordination, and agility, Tai Chi is a total system of exercises promoting circulation, flexibility, and inner strength, as well as mental and physical discipline. Living in California, Master Wang is an authentic Monk from The Shaolin Temple in China challenging the principles he was taught throughout his life. Practice Tai Chi to improve your health and rejuvenate your life! **Drop-ins on the day of the class are allowed and are $10 per class. Please register in the Gift Shop.

  • Tram Tour

    Docent guided Tram Tour.  Tour lasts about 45 minutes and travels the Tram Road which is about a one-mile loop around the garden.  Various points of interest are discussed. You will not disembark the tram.

    Have fun studying and identifying many of the species of birds found in Southern California. Class uses slides, videos, and printed materials. Discussions revolve around birding books, binoculars, and periodicals.

  • Audubon Bird Walks

    Local Audubon members guide this walk through the Garden looking for unusual and resident birds of the Garden.

    The group meets in the Courtyard and then heads out into the Garden.

  • Ferrari Car Show

    Join us for a two-part program. On Monday, June 3rd, learn how plants are categorized and identified. Using the Jepson Manual as our guide, we will learn how to find the critical parts of the plant and then identify it using a binomial key.

    The following Sunday, June 9th, we will have a hands-on experience to practice our new skills. Workshop is outdoors. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water.
