One Stroke Painting - Summer 2013 (Series Begins June 20)

Instructor: Teri Richards, Multi Certified One Stroke Art Instructor, Artistic Machine Quilting Instructor.

No previous painting experience required. Teri's desire is to bring to as many as possible the joy and satisfaction of creating their own objects of art in beautiful color. She instructs students in proper stroke technique to create beautiful, functional items for the home and garden, as well as gifts and items to sell at local fairs and boutiques. Surfaces include canvas, porcelain, wood, metal, glass, and fabrics such as silk, microfiber, and floor cloth. Oriental Impressionistic Watercolor - Summer 2013 (Series Begins June 21)

Learn to create paintings of nature that capture the softly colored art form that is expressed in the teachings and techniques of instructor Hisako Asano. You will learn to mix and blend colors and manipulate 3-D values with a single stroke. Materials list is available in the Foundation Office.

 

Silk Scarves "Shibori Techniques" Class

We will be creating a Beautiful China Silk Scarves 14 x 72 Free Style Folded Pattern or Flower. There will be a variety of colors to choose from. Each Silk Scarf will be uniquely your own. Bring a lunch, everything else will be included. Advance registration and payment required.
