Let's come together, release tension, increase balance and feel completely relaxed with Beginners Tai Chi in the Enchanting Garden. Tai Chi is a graceful series of ancient Chinese meditative movements that help maintain physical health, well-being and spiritual essence. Anyone can learn Tai Chi – any age, all levels of fitness. Nicole Fagone: E-RYT, Certified Yoga Instructor with Yoga Alliance and KRI with 17+ years of Yoga experience specializing in Kundalini Yoga, Flow Yoga and Restorative Yoga.

Join us for a yoga series “A Journey Through the Chakras” as Nicole leads students through yoga sets around the Garden to energize and rejuvenate each chakra (energy centers connected to systems in the body, organs and capacities of the psyche). A wonderful benefit for the body and mind whether taken in the series or separately. Live music, sound healing and optional aromatherapy are a part of the experience! All levels encouraged. This class meets in the Courtyard before going into the Garden. Please be punctual as locations may vary.

3/14/15 – Yoga for the root chakra! Colon and Elimination Organs. The root chakra is associated with foundation, survival, security, habit and self-acceptance.

3/21/15 – Yoga for the second chakra! Reproductive System, Kidneys and Bladder. The second chakra is associated with desires, feelings and creativity.

3/28/15 – Yoga for the third chakra! Liver, Gallbladder, Spleen, Digestive Organs, Pancreas and Adrenals. The third chakra or naval chakra is associated with confidence, willpower, personal power and commitment.

4/4/15 – Yoga for the heart chakra! Heart, Lungs and Thymus Gland. The heart chakra is associated with spiritual awareness, forgiveness and service.

4/18/15 – Yoga for the throat chakra! Trachea, Throat, Cervical Vertebrae and Thyroid.

The throat chakra is associated with truth, self-expression and communication.

4/25/15 – Yoga for the sixth chakra! Brain and Pituitary Gland (Third Eye). The sixth chakra is associated with wisdom and identity.

5/2/15 – Yoga for the crown chakra! Brain and Pineal Gland. The seventh chakra is associated with humility, vastness and transcendence.

5/9/15 – Yoga for the magnetic field! Entire Body and Mind. The aura is associated with protection, projection and prosperity and is an expansion of the energy of all of the chakras combined.

Jan Kain will be teaching the many varieties and styles of line dancing from basics to more advanced. Taught by an industry champion, this class is sure to make you smile, shine on the dance floor and cultivate a healthy mind and body.

This workshop will include information on how to use these ingredients to make your own herbal skin care and beauty products while offering an introduction to botanical beauty.
