February 12 guest speaker - Brian Kemble, a renown cactologist from San Francisco, will give a presentation titled "A Feast of Ferocacti."  Brian has made several trips to Baja Mexico and will not only describe the Ferocacti that grow there, but also many of the Agaves and Dudleyas (All of these families have some species that are native to California). Lets give this out of town, renown horticulturalist a warm welcome to southern California.

March 11 guest speaker - Woody Minnich will give a presentation titled "New Namibia."  Woody is a world traveler and has spoken to our society before.  He always gives a very interesting presentation.  Let's welcome our old friend back to southern California from New Mexico. Woody will also bring some of his rare plants for sale so be sure to bring your pocket book/billfold.

** Public portion of program will begin at 1:30 pm and last for approximately one hour.

Entry to sale is FREE – Access to Garden available with paid admission

Sponsored by Propagation Workshop and South Coast Botanic Garden Foundation.  This annual plant sale is an important fundraiser for the Foundation and a popular community event.  Shop early for the best selection.  Additional vendors will participate including Ricardo’s Nursery, and Monalisas Tropicals.

Many varieties of geranium and pelargonium will be avaiable for sale.  Society members will be on hand to answer your questions.
