Uhler's Stink Bug
Scientific Name:
Cholorochroa uhleri
Stink bugs are well named as when threatened by a predator a strong acrid-smelling odor is produced from glands at the base of the hind legs. Theses true bugs have piercing-sucking mouthparts for extracting plant fluids. Photo by Laurel Woodley
