You may not have thought about planting for a fall harvest that can continue into the winter, but living in our mild climate means that you can have fresh produce and beautiful flowers year-round. This six-week class will provide you with all the information you need to know to have a healthy, thriving, organic cool-season garden including fruits, vegetables, herbs and flowers. We will discuss plant selection, plant schedules, planting from seed and starter plants, basic soil preparation, water, sun and climate requirements, harvesting, and gardening resources. We will also discuss various approaches to gardening including raised beds, container gardening and in-ground directly.
